Butte Cobras are pleased to announce the tender signing of Carson Streich of Osseo, Minnesota.
The 2003-born Streich played three seasons of varsity hockey at Osseo High School. In 70 games the defenseman scored six goals and 29 points for the Orioles.
In his senior season of 2021, Streich posted 13 assists in 19 MSHSL games. That followed a fall bridge season where he scored eight goals and six assists in 11 games.
This is the second tender signing for new head coach Kirk Golden who commented on his newest d-man, “Carson is a very smooth skater with a great set of skills. His smarts and positioning in the defensive zone make him hard to get around while his vision makes him a threat on the offensive side. He will be a huge asset to our defensive core.”
Streich, who will graduate from Osseo High in June, is already looking forward to net season, saying “I’m excited to take this next step, and develop new skills with Kirk!”
