The Butte Cobras locker room will include some international talent this upcoming season after the team has signed Fabian Aarstad Vik of Skien Ishockey klubb.
Born in Narvik, Norway, Aarstad Vik is a 20-year old who has grown up in the Skien IHK system. During the 2020-21 season he scored a pair of goals in 14 games for the U21 side. In the previous season the 6’1 forward played the entire Junior season before a five-game stint with the Senior side competing in the Norwegian Second Division.
“The Cobras are very pleased to announce the signing of Norwegian Fabian Aarstad Vik,” commented Kirk Golden. “Fabian is a talented forward and will add to our offensive depth.”
