Butte Cobras Head Coach Marc Brodeur has signed another prospect for the 2023-24 NA3HL season. Andrew Fichtel, a 17-year old goaltender from Aurora, Illinois is the latest player to commit for next season.
At 6’4″ Fichtel is a tall netminder with plenty of experience. This past season Fichtel posted a 1.97 GAA and .914 save% in 15 games with the Naperville Sabres 18U AA. The Sabres finished third in the 11-team Central States Development Hockey League (CSDHL).
He also played high school hockey with the Warriors Hockey Club where he was named Illinois West Varsity All Star.
