Butte Cobras have signed a second player from Osseo, Minnesota to a tender for next season. Welcome to Daniel Ellingson.
Ellingson joins his high school teammate Carson Streich who also will be in Butte this fall.
“Daniel is a very skilled forward,” said coach Kirk Golden. “He has a great work ethic along with his great attitude.”
A 2003-born forward, Ellingson had a breakout season – his third on the varsity squad – scoring 13 goals while adding 14 assists in 19 games.
The 6’0 had an exceptional fall as well, posting eight points in 17 games while playing with the Minnesota Muskies 18U in the Minnesota Hockey High Performance League. Ellingson then played with Osseo High in the Bridge League adding 10 goals and 11 assists in nine games.
Golden is excited to add the scorer saying, “Daniel’s abilities allow him to create space and time which lead to scoring chances for him and his linemates.”
