Veteran skater Robby Arver has announced his commitment to Niagara University where he will skate with the Purple Eagles Club Hockey team this fall. Niagara is a member of the Collegiate Hockey Federation (CHF) and Upstate New York Collegiate Hockey League (UNYCHL). They finished the 2021-22 season with a 16-4 record.
The 20-year old Arver played in 100 games over the past three seasons in Butte. The Spokane, Washington native totaled 10 goals and 25 points while providing leadership on and off the ice for the Cobras.
“We are very excited about Robby’s commitment to play club hockey at Niagara University,” commented Kirk Golden who coached Arver this past season. “They are getting a great hockey player and an even better person! It will be tough to lose Robby’s infectious positive attitude. He was a glue guy, and a leader for us, and will always be a big part of the Butte Cobras Junior Hockey organization. We thank him for all he has done for our program over the years and look forward to following his continued development at a great program.”
